THIS CAMPAIGN IS ACTUALLY THE RESULT OF MY ATTEMPT TO SEPARATE THEBARBARIANCHARACTER CLASS FROM THE GROUP OF SPECIALIZED INDIVIDUALS WHO WOULD ACTUALY EXIST WITHIN A SOCIETY OF SAID BARBARIANS. WHILE MOST BARBARIANS WOULD PROBABLY BE WARRIORS, AND THEREFORE FALL WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE BARBARIAN CLASS, THERE WOULD ALSO BE SPIRITUALIST IN THE FORM OF SHAMANS, DRUIDS, CLERICS, SORCERERS, WILD MAGES,ETC. HUNTERS AND SCOUTS IN THE FORM OF RANGERS, ROGUES AND POSSIBLY MONKS. THERE WOULD ALSO BE NON-ADVENTURERS. MASONS, SMITHS, LEATHERWORKERS, THATCHERS, HEALERS, SHEPHERDS, ETC. THIS CAMPAIGN EVOLVED FROM THAT BASIC IDEA AND TOOK ON A LIFE OF IT’S OWN, THOUGH NEVER DEVIATING FROM THAT INITIAL CONCEPT. THE END RESULT WAS A 3+ PLAYER CAMPAIGN WITH A LARGE OVERALL SCOPE, A PLAYER ORIENTED STORY DEVELOPMENT THAT REACTS FLUIDLY TO THE PLAYER CHARACTER’S ACTIONS , AND A POCKET WORLD SETTING THAT SERVES TO CREATE A SUPRISINGLY REALISTIC INTERACTION AMONGST THE VARIOUS RACES AND CHARACTERS CONTAINED IN IT.
